THE DEVELOPMENT INFORMATION CENTRE (DIC)

The Development Information Centre (DIC) is a depository library for all World Bank publications (Books, journals, CDs etc). These publications contain development information that can be accessed electronically or physically. Topics covered include poverty, health, education, banking & finance, MDGs, HIV, climate change, structural adjustment programmes, Agriculture.

Print sources are captured in the University of Ghana’s online catalogue (UGCat). Publications are not allowed to be taken out of the library. They may be used ONLY within the library.

The Development Information Centre (DIC) is open to the public and provides access to current statistics, literature and reports on development work in Ghana and other countries.  Government officials, private sector firms, NGOs, students, Academia and  journalists are all welcome to consult this collection. It is located on the second floor of the main building.
